Underwater exploration.
Diving has been one of the most important ways in which I have explored the world. Over the years, I have completed around 500 dives on six continents and used underwater photography to document the marine environments, wildlife, and wrecks I encountered along the way.
These dives have taken me from cold northern waters to tropical reefs and historic wreck sites and local dives sites around New York, offering a different perspective on exploration — one shaped by silence, immersion, and close attention to what often remains unseen. The galleries here bring together some of the highlights of that journey.
More pictures will follow soon, in the meantime you can check out my old website which has lots of pictures on it: https://martinkraus.zenfolio.com
