Exploration is curiosity in action, carried by storytelling.

For me, exploration is not only about reaching remote places. It is about crossing boundaries between nature, culture, science, policy, and human experience — and bringing back images, knowledge, and stories that help others see the world differently.

Over the years, this has taken me across more than 100 countries, through underwater environments, polar regions, remote landscapes, and communities around the world. This site brings together selected photographs, expeditions, and projects shaped by a continuing desire to explore, understand, and share.

Photography has been one of my main ways of documenting the world. Through images, I try to capture not only beauty and remoteness, but also connection — between people and place, between adventure and responsibility, and between exploration and understanding. A particular focus has been scuba diving and underwater photography, which opened a window into marine life and environments that often remain unseen.

I have also been closely involved with The Explorers Club, including as a former Board Member, with a focus on youth education, sustainability, and widening access to exploration. That work has included supporting initiatives such as Explorers Cubs, the Sustainability Committee, and efforts to bring more members from developing countries into the Club, as well as participating in Explorers Club Flag expeditions.

I am also interested in youth education, sustainability, and the ways curiosity can lead to greater responsibility and engagement with the world. What matters most to me is not exploration as performance, but exploration as a way of paying attention, inspiring others, and staying open to what can still be learned.
