The Explorers Club has also been an important part of my exploration journey. Founded in 1904 to support field research and scientific exploration, the Club today brings together explorers, scientists, conservationists, and storytellers from across disciplines.
As a former Board Member, I was involved in work on nominations, conservation and sustainability, education, and widening access to the Club, including efforts to bring in youth and encourage greater participation from members in developing countries.
I have also taken part in Explorers Club Flag expeditions, which further shaped my view of exploration as curiosity in action, carried by storytelling.
