Sharks

Shark encounters have been a recurring part of my diving and ocean experiences, from tropical reefs to the open Atlantic. What has stayed with me most is how different each encounter feels depending on the place, the species, and who I was sharing it with. Some were about abundance, such as the reef sharks of Jardines de la Reina, others about the raw intensity of bull sharks in Cuba, and others still about family moments in Providencia or the fast-moving presence of blue sharks and makos off Montauk.
